Grimsargh Cricket Club is expanding in the new, 2003, season and is keen to recruit new players of all ages, races and experience.
In addition to our Saturday team, playing in Division D of the Palace Shield competition and our Wednesday evening, 20 over a side Boddington's team, we will be entering a new team in the Division F Sunday league and an Under 13 junior team in the Palace Shield Junior Competition.
We are holding indoor nets at Preston College every Wednesday from the 8th of January. These will feature special coaching from a member of Lancashire C.C.'s coaching staff. We are also holding junior practise sessions in Grimsargh Village Hall from Tuesday 7th January.
We welcome new players of all ages, standards and backgrounds. With three teams to run every week everyone will get a chance to play and have fun at this forward thinking cricket club.
Anyone wishing to play can phone Nick Mallory on 01772 780510 for details or the club captai

Grimsargh C.C. would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the major sponsors of the leagues in which they play.
Moore and Smalley Chartered Accountants sponsor the Palace Shield, a competition which celebrated its centenary in 2002. This firm have done much to boost cricket in the Preston area and every cricketer owes a debt of gratitude to their long standing commitment to the great game of Cricket.
We would also like to thank Boddington's, the brewers, who kindly sponsor the Wednesday evening 20 over league which has given many members of the club a great opportunity to play a more relaxed form of the game. Grimsargh C.C. are honours to have been winners of the Boddington's 40 over knock out cup over the last two years, winning September's final by over two hundred runs at sunny Fulwood and Broughton.
